Tomaj Trenda began dancing Bachata in the clubs of Los Angeles in 2006 and promotes the San Francisco and Reno Bachata Festivals.

Tomaj has been teaching Salsa Dancing since 1994 throughout the S.F. Bay Area and is a regular presenter at the San Francisco International Salsa Congress and at the Hawaii Salsa Festival.

Tomaj has a Masters degree in Dance Education has been a faculty member at the University of Washington, Cornish College of the Arts, University of the West Indies, National Ballet of Mexico and the College of Marin, and has performed Internationally throughout Europe, Asia and North America.
