Allegro Ballroom

Allegro Ballroom has an outstanding faculty of professional dance instructors in a wide variety of ballroom and other social dances. You can come to our group classes or take private lessons. We offer an organized curriculum that provides beginning, intermediate and advanced dancers a path of progressive development in the American and International dance styles. Check our monthly schedule and daily classes for exact dates. for exact dates. In addition to instruction, we offer many ways for you to practice and enjoy your dancing skills:

Attend supervised practice times after many classes that offer scheduled practice hours for different levels.
Use one of three ballroom floors where you can practice independently. (Floor fee information here)
Join our performance teams to learn routines and skills under a supportive dance coach.
Enter the various competitions in the SF Bay Area as an Allegro Ballroom dancer.
Participate in our many special workshops and showcase performances with world-class guest teachers, champions and judges.

Wedding Program

We offer a wedding workshop on Saturday afternoons every month. Please see the schedule for exact dates and times. If you are interested in private lessons or more information, please contact Gail Enright.

Ballroom Floors for Practice

Whether you want to practice by yourself looking at the mirror, or bring a practice partner to perfect your style, you can use our floors anytime during our hours of operation. During the day, all three of our floors are often available. Each is equipped with a separate sound system so that you can play your favorite CD, tape or MP3s. You may have to share the floor and sound system. Our staff is available to answer your questions.

During the evening, the Main Ballroom and the Junior Ballroom floors are used for group classes. The Mini-Ballroom floor is available for practice and private lessons.
